Kuriakose’s main focus will be strengthening SumUp’s product team and strategy. With previous roles as CPO at companies like JustGiving and TotallyMoney, as well as being an early product manager at Skype, she is well-equipped to drive SumUp’s continued growth trajectory.

SumUp, founded in 2012, has quickly established itself as a key player in the payments industry, offering a range of products from payments to banking and loyalty. With 4 million customers in 35 countries worldwide, SumUp is positioning itself as the ultimate ‘Super App’ for merchants.

“SumUp has already established an impressive portfolio of products, ranging from payments to banking and loyalty, and is set to become the ultimate ‘Super App’ for merchants. As SumUp continues to challenge conventional thinking, I am eager to further refine our product culture and customer focus to help drive our continued growth trajectory,” said Anna Kuriakose.

SumUp’s Co-Founder, Marc-Alexander Christ, expressed his excitement about the appointment of Kuriakose, stating, “I am convinced that together with Anna, we will be able to take our products to a new level and offer even better tools to merchants in the future. After all, fintechs are now among the big drivers in the European ecosystem, and Anna will propel our work as a pioneer of global innovation.”
