Pride Month in Fintech
As Pride Month takes place throughout June, fintech companies are joining in to celebrate diversity and inclusion, from supporting LGBTQ+ causes to attending parades. Many organizations are hosting various events and activities, such as film clubs, panel discussions, and launching Pride-designed cards, to showcase their commitment to inclusivity and support for the LGBTQ+ community.
Notable Celebrations
Starling Bank is celebrating Pride Month by attending parades across the country, and its #BendTheBank network runs engagement and awareness projects aimed at championing LGBTQ+ rights throughout the company. Activities include socials, book clubs, film nights, talks, and more, happening all year round.
Revolut has a series of events and activities running throughout Pride Month, including global wellbeing seminars, movie nights, and participating in the Madrid Pride march. They are also launching a culture video showcasing their diverse team.
PensionBee is hosting its annual Pride Picnic to remember progress against discrimination and celebrate love in all forms. The company is also organizing panel discussions and sessions with internal and external speakers to educate and spark conversations around LGBTQ+ equality.
Children’s prepaid card GoHenry is celebrating Pride by launching a tailored Pride-designed card in association with charity partner NSPCC. The card is available all year round, and for every card sold, GoHenry will donate £1 to the NSPCC.
