Despite the challenges it has faced in obtaining a banking license in the UK and delaying its results, Revolut has been recognized as one of the UK’s most valuable brands. According to Kantar’s brand valuation study, Revolut has climbed two spots to rank 13 nationwide. It is also the third highest-ranked financial services company, trailing behind HSBC and Barclays.
Brand Value and Recognition
Revolut’s brand value for 2023 is estimated to be $5.119 billion. This brand valuation series, conducted by Kantar, provides a comprehensive insight into the brand ecosystem of the British market. It considers both financial data and qualitative customer research to assess consumer attitudes towards brands.
Disrupting the Banking Industry
Revolut’s Vice President of Growth, Antoine Le Nel, expressed his excitement about the brand’s position in the ranking. He stated that Revolut is once again shaking up the banking industry by being the only fintech in the top 15. The recent app update, ‘Revolut 10’, with its new logo and interface, aims to encourage more users to utilize Revolut as their primary bank account.
