Shiba Inu Game To Provide Unique Opportunities
In a thrilling development for the Shiba Inu community, the project’s team member and head of developers, Shytoshi Kusama, has teased an upcoming game update tailored for the SHIBArmy. This news hints at a significant enhancement coming to the Shiba Inu ecosystem, aiming to boost engagement and expand the utility of the SHIB coin.
Shiba Inu team member and marketing lead Lucie shared the update on the X platform, formerly Twitter, on Thursday, quoting Shytoshi Kusama. Before this announcement, Lucie had hinted at an upcoming SHIB Eternity game, expressing her enthusiasm for the initiative.
Lucie revealed that holders of the Shiboshis NFTs, a collection of 10,000 Shiba Inu pixel art characters, will soon be able to play the game and earn rewards in SHIB with their pieces. “Some individuals may earn enough to sustain themselves by renting their Shiboshis, while others can have fun playing the game and earn rewards,” she mentioned.
Kusama provided more insights into the game, stating that once completed, the game will be exclusively licensed to the decentralized Shiba Inu team for use on the project’s layer 2 blockchain solution Shibarium. The primary goal of the team is to integrate decentralized elements into the mobile version for future updates.
Additionally, Kusama highlighted that while Shiba Inu Games operates separately from this venture, it will bring unique opportunities and value to the project’s core tokens like SHIB, LEASH, and BONE.
He also emphasized potential SHIB and LEASH burns, funded by proceeds from Shiba Inu’s in-app purchases. “A true win-win situation, and this is just a glimpse of what’s on the horizon,” Kusama added.
Although specifics are still under wraps, the announcement has sparked discussions among SHIBArmy members, speculating on potential gaming features and their integration into the current ecosystem. This initiative is part of a larger strategy to leverage the growing interest in blockchain-based games to enhance SHIB’s value and adoption.
Giveaway For Shibarium Users
The recent announcement coincides with ongoing rumors about an upcoming giveaway for Shibarium users. According to Lucie, an NFT art project on the Shiba Inu blockchain will soon host a giveaway for the Shibarium community.
Specifically, SHIBA SWEEPERS, a community-driven NFT project building Shibarium, will offer its first collection on the blockchain. On July 1, 2024, the collection, comprising 10,000 unique pieces (3,000 animated NFTs and 7,000 PNGs), will be officially released, with each piece priced at 7 BONE tokens.
As the community eagerly anticipates the launch, SHIBA SWEEPERS is organizing giveaways and airdrops for the SHIB Army. Community members must join the project’s Telegram group to participate in the giveaway.
