While most current automation processes operate at lower IPA levels, the future lies in Level 3 intelligent and adaptive systems. These systems can address the absurdity of current processes by integrating AI capabilities to streamline operations and reduce manual interventions.
Agentic AI and Intelligent Automation
As organizations seek to replace complex integrations with AI-enabled autonomous processes, the rise of Agentic AI promises a new era of intelligent automation. Agentic AI systems are capable of pursuing complex goals with minimal human supervision, leveraging powerful technology like Foundation Models to execute tasks autonomously and adaptively.
While Agentic AI is still in its early stages, the rapid development of these capabilities signals a shift towards more intelligent automation solutions. The convergence of technology advancements and organizational demand for enhanced automation paves the way for a new wave of intelligent and adaptive automation systems.
